Hi Everyone!

My name is Yasmin and my passion is education. I have come from a family of educators, and I live by the motto that: “Education is Empowerment”.

With over 20 years tutoring experience and over 16 years of experience working in the international and local systems in Australia, Indonesia, and Europe, I am currently completing my Doctorate of Education with my focus on how teachers ‘Responsively Differentiate’ their strategies to meet the diverse needs of international students.

I am the Belgium ambassador for the International Teacher’s Association where I evaluate programs, discuss and develop new strategies for education as well as increase the awareness about the value of education on a Global scale. I value the individuality and diversity of students as all people are unique and have their own preferences, goals and learning journey.

I aspire to reach all students on their level and understand their perspective and concerns. I provide personalised and motivating lessons to undergraduate and high-school students who are working towards various international diplomas and certificates or university degrees.

When we are educated, and we know how or where to find the information we need then we can get to where we need to go more efficiently and with ease. Here, at Individual Learners, not only do we teach the important content that students need to know to pass their exams and achieve the marks they are looking for, but we also teach how to learn.

We pride ourselves on helping students understand how they learn best and offer creative and diverse strategies to help them achieve their goals. With our endless bank of resources from past papers, worksheets and exercises, interactive experiences, real world examples, and continuously evolving and flexible strategies, we can offer help to assist all students.

We ensure special attention to help students where English is not their first language and also any learning difficulties that students may be facing. We provide a personal experience for all.
